It is not necessary to belong to the Bryan Rotary Club or to the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce. Previously nominated businesses and winners may be nominated again. Q: What are the benefits of The Bryan Rotary Club/Newman 10 Awards?The Bryan Rotary Club/Newman 10 Awards are one of the few ways small businesses gain recognition for their achievements. The 2008 Awards will be announced at an awards luncheon on June 4, 2008. Winners are publicized through the media, sponsor publications and web sites. This recognition can boost employee morale and enhance your company's reputation with existing and potential clients and customers. Q: How are companies nominated?Nomination forms are available February 18, 2008, through March 17, 2008, at the Chamber of Commerce, and online at www.BryanRotary.org and www.Newman10.com. Nominations may be submitted by the company itself, or by vendors, friends, business associates, employees or anyone who knows a company that deserves recognition.

Q: Are all nominated companies considered for The Bryan Rotary Club/Newman 10 Awards?No. To be included in the ranking, companies must complete and return an application. Nominees will be mailed an application within 3 days of receipt of the nomination form. Q: Will my application be kept confidential?Yes. By signing the application, your company's representative authorizes public disclosure of the percentage range of profitability only. Information is received and calculated by a research economist at the Mays Business School. Q: Who are The Bryan Rotary Club/Newman 10 Awards sponsors?The awards are an economic development program sponsored by the Bryan Rotary Club in cooperation with the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce, and in partnership with the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
